What does the training involve and in which areas will I be employed?

You will get to know the following areas of work, among others:

Receiving, storing, picking and packing goods
Ensuring and optimizing logistical processes
quality assurance
Shipping goods all over the world
Teamwork, communication and work organization

You will be supervised by experienced training officers who will ensure that the training content is passed on in an understandable way. This enables you to learn and apply new knowledge quickly.

What requirements should I have for this apprenticeship?

You have at least a good secondary school leaving certificate and have good spatial awareness, organizational skills and diligence. We expect you to be a team player, reliable and able to work responsibly.

How long does the training take?

The apprenticeship lasts a total of three years, but you have the option of shortening your training period if you perform well at school and in the company. The following applies:

If you have an intermediate school-leaving certificate (or comparable school-leaving qualification), the apprenticeship can be shortened by up to 6 months.
If you have an advanced technical college entrance qualification (or have already completed vocational training), the training period can be shortened by up to 12 months.

What does the dual training system look like?

The dual training takes place at two learning locations, in the company and at the vocational school. Lessons at the vocational school for industrial logistics take place in blocks and are linked to the school vacations.
