For us at J.J. Darboven , coffee is more than just a drink - it stands for joie de vivre and responsibility. That is why we launched the Honduras Education Life Project (H.E.L.P.) together with our long-standing partner ofi, one of the world's leading green coffee traders, in 2015.
The aim: to sustainably improve the living conditions of coffee growers in Honduras - through targeted support in the areas of education, coffee cultivation and health. Numerous measures were successfully implemented by the end of the project in 2023. The project always saw itself as helping people to help themselves - in a spirit of partnership, practical and effective.
Since 2023, we have focused our commitment on the shade tree project, which specifically addresses the effects of climate change on the coffee regions in Honduras and Peru
