The Darboven IDEE Award is the only national award that specifically recognizes innovative start-up ideas by women. The prize has been awarded by Albert Darboven since 1997 - with the aim of encouraging and visibly promoting entrepreneurial potential.

The award looks for sustainable and viable business concepts from all sectors of the economy. The focus is on promoting female entrepreneurs whose ideas make a sustainable contribution to the competitiveness of the German economy.
