Your training Mechatronics technician (m/f/d)

During your apprenticeship, you will be supervised by experienced training officers who will ensure that the training content is passed on to you in an understandable way. You will get to know the following areas of work, among others:

• Production, assembly and testing of our machines
• Commissioning new systems that keep pace with the latest state of the art
• quality management
• Maintenance and repair of machines, systems and production systems
• Planning and control of work processes
• Installing and testing hardware and software components
• Teamwork, communication and work organization

To enable you to get to know and understand all the relevant operating processes, you will get to know all the different production systems in the area of maintenance in order to learn about the connections between the individual process steps.

You have at least a good secondary school leaving certificate and should have a good knowledge of mathematics and physics and be able to grasp things quickly. A good technical understanding, spatial imagination and abstract and logical thinking skills are an advantage. We expect you to be a team player, reliable and able to work responsibly. And, of course, you should enjoy working on and with machines.

The apprenticeship lasts a total of three and a half years, but you have the option of shortening your training period if you perform well at school and in the company. The following applies:

• If you have an intermediate school-leaving certificate (or comparable school-leaving qualification), the apprenticeship can be shortened by up to 6 months.
• If you have an advanced technical college entrance qualification (or have already completed vocational training), the training period can be shortened by up to 12 months.

The dual training takes place at two learning locations: in the company and at the vocational school. Lessons at the vocational school take place two days a week and are linked to the school vacations in Hamburg.
