Your training IT specialist (m/f/d)

IT specialists procure and manage information and telecommunications technology systems. They determine user requirements, plan and create application solutions and provide advice and training for users. They also ensure the cost-effectiveness of the customer or user-oriented organization of projects.

You will become familiar with the following areas of work, among others:

• System architecture, hardware and operating systems
• Information and telecommunications technology products and markets
• Application software, networks and services
• Production and support of system solutions
• Programming techniques, installation and configuration
• Teamwork, communication and work organization

You will be deployed in all relevant areas so that you can get to know and understand all relevant operational processes. Under the guidance of our qualified trainers, you will learn how to provide technical advice. You will mainly support J.J. Darboven 's specialist departments and train users in the introduction of new systems.

You have at least a good secondary school leaving certificate with good mathematical skills. You have a basic technical understanding and a pronounced affinity for IT. You also have good learning and comprehension skills. We expect you to be a team player, reliable and able to work responsibly.

The apprenticeship lasts a total of 3 years, but you have the option of shortening your training period if you perform well at school and in the company. The following applies:

• If you have an intermediate school-leaving certificate (or comparable school-leaving qualification), the apprenticeship can be shortened by up to 6 months.
• If you have an advanced technical college entrance qualification (or have already completed vocational training), the training period can be shortened by up to 12 months.

The dual training takes place at two learning locations, in the company and at the vocational school. Lessons at the City Nord vocational school take place in blocks and are linked to the school vacations.
