For over 150 years, J.J. Darboven has stood for exceptional hot drinks - with passion, experience and Hanseatic reliability. As a family-run company with a long tradition, we combine craftsmanship with responsibility and are now established throughout Europe as a competent partner for coffee, tea and cocoa.

What drives us? Our enthusiasm for enjoyment - and the desire to share this with our customers. Whether in the catering, hotel, bakery or retail sectors: we support you with high-quality products, strong brands and personal service.

IDEE Sponsorship Award 2025

Public voting has ended

As the winner of the public vote, the myprotectify team will take part in the final of the 17th IDEE Sponsorship Award!

They will present themselves and their concept to the high-calibre jury chaired by Prof. Dr Rolf Eggert. Other jury members include: Dr Bernd C. Janssen, Norbert Leopoldseder, Wilfried Peters, Dr Anita Plantikow, Manuela Rasthofer and Nina Heine (winners of the IDEE Sponsorship Award 2023).

The IDEE Sponsorship Award is endowed with €50,000, with second place receiving €10,000 and third place €5,000. The IDEE Sponsorship Award 2025 will be presented on 14 November. A big thank you to all participants for their inspiring ideas and to you for your active participation in the public vote!

As a family business, we take responsibility - for people, the environment and society. We promote inclusion, cultural exchange and popular sport. At the same time, we are committed to improving living conditions in the countries of origin of our products.

The Café Intención shade tree project is particularly close to our hearts - together with local coffee farmers, we enable shade trees to be planted in order to adapt coffee cultivation to the consequences of climate change.

The previously active H.E.L.P. support project was pioneering - now we are providing new impetus.
