To strengthen our team at the production facility in Hamburg, we are seeking, initially for a one-year fixed-term contract, to start as soon as possible, a

Machine and Equipment Operator (m/f/d) – Roasting Plant

• You will operate our roasters, grinders, and packaging machines independently
• You will process roasting, grinding, and production orders in close coordination with production planning and shift supervisors
• You will conduct quality inspections of semi-finished and finished products
• In addition, you will carefully document production- and quality-related data
• You consistently adhere to occupational safety rules, hygiene guidelines, and work and operating instructions
• You will resolve minor malfunctions independently and assist with more complex issues in coordination with the technical team
• You also regularly clean the equipment and the immediate production area
• You actively participate in continuous improvement teams and contribute your own ideas for optimizing workflows and processes

• Ideally, several years of professional experience as a plant operator or machine operator, preferably in food production
• Completion of an apprenticeship in a food-related or technical field is an advantage, particularly as a brewer or maltster, since the associated process-oriented work methods and technical understanding translate particularly well to the work in our roastery
• A keen sense of mechanical sequences, complemented by strong visualization skills
• An independent, responsible, and results-oriented work style
• High level of commitment, flexibility, and ability to work well in a team
• Willingness to work shifts is required
