We are looking to strengthen our team in Hamburg as soon as possible with a

Junior Buyer (m/f/d)

• Active participation in the development and implementation of procurement strategies, as well as in cross-functional projects
• Strategic selection, evaluation, and development of suppliers in the technical field and in the area of marketing services
• Independently negotiating and finalizing contracts, prices, and terms with national and international partners
• Establishing and maintaining long-term supplier relationships and ensuring a sustainable and stable supply
• Identifying and realizing cost-saving opportunities, as well as continuously optimizing procurement costs and processes
• Further development and quality assurance of master data and product structures as the basis for well-informed purchasing decisions
• Managing and continuously optimizing complaint processes to sustainably improve supplier performance
• Monitoring demand and deriving appropriate measures to ensure availability while taking strategic objectives into account
• Contributing to the further development of purchasing processes and guidelines
• Sharing responsibility for invoice verification and posting processes as part of a holistic procure-to-pay approach

• Completion of a business or technical apprenticeship or degree program, ideally with a focus on procurement or business administration
• Professional experience in strategic and/or operational procurement with a clear progression toward strategic responsibilities
• Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA in the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) area; experience with Navision is a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Good written and spoken English skills for communicating with international partners
• A structured, solution-oriented, and self-directed approach to work
• Strong teamwork skills, excellent communication skills, and negotiation skills
• Strong customer focus as well as entrepreneurial thinking and action
