In addition to our coffee-growing related activities, we would also like to use H.E.L.P. to improve the educational conditions for children in Santa Bárbara. H.E.L.P. has selected three schools in San Nicolas, which are the current focus of the project.

H.E.L.P. is a support project with which we have been improving the growing, living and educational conditions of coffee farmers in Honduras since 2016. Due to the great demand and the many successes of H.E.L.P., the number of participants has steadily increased. On the following pages you will learn everything about the successes and goals of H.E.L.P..
Find out about H.E.L.P.
Since the start of H.E.L.P. in 2016 we are accompanying three project participants who, with their stories and challenges, are exemplary for the around 300 project participants. We are very pleased that Yolanda, Nora and Melvin have made great progress in the past few years.
Find out more about the project's participants
In the first three years of the project, H.E.L.P. has already made some great progress. For example, while the average yield per hectare of project participants before the start of the project was significantly below the national average, this has now become above average. H.E.L.P. will continue to support farmers in Honduras and has also set ambitious goals for the next five years.

Our porcelain filter set for maximum coffee enjoyment
Do you like the smell and taste of freshly brewed coffee? Then you will love Elvira. Our new porcelain filter set already makes an impression before you’ve even prepared you first coffee thanks to its extravagant design, which came directly from the pen of our owner and general manager, Albert Darboven.
With its elegantly contoured base and modern, narrow filter, Elvira is not just nice to look at, it is also well thought out: The combination of sophisticated porcelain filter and particularly finely-pored, stainless steel sieve spares you the tiresome purchase of countless paper filters. This is good for the environment and for your wallet - and particularly good for the taste of coffee, as the taste can be heavily affected by the use of paper filters. With its subtle golden colour, the stainless steel sieve also adds visually appealing accents.
Finally, the overall luxurious impression of Elvira, our porcelain filter set, is completed by a stylish black isolating pot that fits perfectly beneath the porcelain filter onto the base of the machine, hereby guaranteeing a smooth brewing process. Should you need to prepare a little more coffee than usual after all, other coffee pot models of the same size (approx. 1.2 l) can also be used for the preparation.
About the preparation: Of course, preparation is very convenient with Elvira.
Find out how to truly achieve the best taste for you and your guests with our short introduction video.
Slot the stainless steel sieve into the porcelain filter and suspend them together in the base-mounting.
Place isolating pot beneath the porcelain filter.
Pour the desired amount of ground filter coffee into the stainless steel sieve.
For optimal release of coffee flavours, pour the slightly cooled, no longer boiling water over the ground coffee in the stainless steel sieve.
After approx. 30 seconds, slowly pour remaining water in circular motions.
Seal the isolating pot with the lid and serve the delicious Slow Coffee.
After brewing, wash all parts with water. The stainless steel sieve is dishwasher-safe.
Cup (approx. 125 ml) = 7 g ground coffee, roughly corresponds to about one heaped teaspoon
Half pot (600 ml) = 30 g coffee grounds / 4 heaped teaspoons
