The IDEE Sponsorship Prize is the only national award for innovative ideas of female entrepreneurs. Albert Darboven has been awarding this prize since 1997 to encourage women who dare to take the step into entrepreneurial independence.

Since 1866 J.J. Darboven has stood for the high quality of coffee, tea, and cocoa. The company was the first
wholesale roaster to introduce fairtrade coffee at the beginning of the 1990s. This has been followed by many other products of Fairtrade and organic quality to this day.
