Hamburg, May 2019 – Cold Brew has long since established itself as a cult drink in the market from the former trend and has become indispensable in trend-oriented gastronomy. The launch of J.J. Darboven under the J. Hornig brand in May 2019 will provide the next impetus in cold brew development for the out-of-home market. Gastronomes, bakers and barkeepers can now delight their guests with the particularly sparkling orange taste and the surprisingly refreshing caffeine kick of Cold Brew Sparkling Orange.
The coffee speciality, which is particularly popular with the younger target group, is also increasingly popular with professionals from the catering trade. Due to its mild taste and versatile application possibilities, Cold Brew has secured a firm place in the hearts of Frahling lovers. J.J. Darboven has long recognised this development and is now setting a trend-setting sign for trend-oriented gastronomy under the brand name J.Hornig with Cold Brew Sparkling Orange. "The new product combines the lightness of orange with the caffeine content of two espressos, thus creating a successful balance of freshness and strength. The carbonic acid also gives the drink that certain something and is one step ahead of other Cold Brew products," explains Johannes Hornig. The traditional roaster J.J. Darboven collected inspiration for the refreshing caffeine kick from baristas and bartenders from all over Europe and the USA. The 12 hours of cold brewed coffee and the combination of a high caffeine content and low sugar content creates an energy boost without any sugar depth. With the claim "Upgrade your Energy", J.J. Darboven is making determined progress with the brand campaign for J.Hornig and positioning itself as an interesting alternative to the classic energy drink.
The Cold Brew Sparkling Orange, made from selected Arabica beans, is suitable for numerous delicious coffee creations or as a refreshing cold drink on its own. An all-round talent and sales guarantor that offers bartenders a wide variety of possibilities, as a bitter treat with tonic water or simply on ice or as a cocktail ingredient, Cold Brew Sparkling Orange is absolutely versatile in use and creates new impulses for creative compositions. As inspiration, J.J. Darboven has developed two suitable recipes for every taste, with which restaurateurs and bakers can score points with their guests: Cold Brew Orange Tonic with classic Tonic Water on ice and Cold Brew Cold Fashioned with Orange Bitter and Orange Peel refined on ice.
