This is one of the most popular trade apprenticeships and almost no other job has changed as much in the last ten years as that of a Mechatronic Technician. Nowadays mechatronics has inevitably become interwoven with technology, meaning the requirements of an apprenticeship have had to be redefined.
Mechatronics Technicians work at the interface of industrial and electrical jobs. The rapid development of the job covers everything from turning screws to handling complex mechatronic systems with delicate electronics. All of this needs to be controlled and adjusted in order to maintain our heavy machinery. Fault-finding can become real detective work here. You will support our experts in metal technology as well as in electro technology and electronics.
At J.J. Darboven, you will be working in our automated production facilities getting to know the production, commissioning, and maintenance of the machinery. By doing so, you will make an important contribution to the sustainable production of our high quality products.
